Château Feytit-Clinet ranks among the most prestigious and sought-after estates in the Pomerol appellation. Located on some of the finest terroirs of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, the estate enjoys a privileged position in the heart of the appellation, close to some of Pomerol’s most renowned crus.

The history of the property spans several generations of passionate winegrowers. Since the early 2000s, the Chasseuil family has undertaken an extensive program of vineyard restructuring and modernization of the winemaking facilities. Thanks to a demanding approach and a continuous pursuit of quality, Château Feytit-Clinet has gradually established itself as one of the benchmark estates of Pomerol.

The vineyard covers approximately 6.5 hectares, divided among several carefully selected plots. The vines are planted on gravel, clay, and sandy soils resting on iron-rich subsoils known as crasse de fer, a hallmark of Pomerol’s greatest terroirs. This unique combination encourages a particularly deep and elegant expression of Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc.

Vineyard management focuses on controlled yields, meticulous vineyard work, and rigorous grape selection. Vinification is carried out with great precision in order to preserve the identity of each parcel and reveal the full richness of the terroir. Ageing in oak barrels brings additional complexity and finesse while respecting the wine’s natural balance.
