PASSATION 24 from Domaine Pastor is a red wine from the appellation Faugères, renowned for its schist soils and characterful wines.

The 2024 vintage stands out for its deep colour with violet reflections. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruits — blackberry and blackcurrant — along with spicy notes (pepper, garrigue) typical of southern France. On the palate, the attack is smooth but quickly becomes structured, with present yet well-integrated tannins. The balance between freshness and power results in a wine that is both generous and elegant.

The blend is generally dominated by Mediterranean grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan. PASSATION 24 perfectly reflects the sunny and mineral identity of its terroir.

Food pairing:
Ideal with grilled meats, roasted lamb, or stews with Provençal herbs.

Serving temperature:
Serve at around 16–18°C, after light aeration to fully reveal its complexity.

It is an approachable yet authentic wine, appealing both to enthusiasts and to those discovering the wines of the Languedoc region.

The Domaine Pastor is located in the appellation Faugères, in the heart of a schist-based terroir typical of the Languedoc region in southern France. Although the current structure is relatively recent (established in 2021), it is rooted in a family winemaking history spanning more than 100 years and six generations of winegrowers.

Today, the estate is led by Florian Pastor, who chose to produce his own wines after gaining experience within the family cooperative framework.

The project is built on a highly committed approach:

agroecological practices (mechanical soil work, natural fertilizers, biodiversity preservation)
hand-harvesting
a focus on producing less but better (small yields, quality as a priority)

The estate is also engaged in an environmental approach (HVE certification type).
