The typicity of an exceptional Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois
Located on the banks of the Gironde, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Château Charmail has established itself as one of the finest references of the Haut-Médoc’s exceptional Crus Bourgeois.
It is planted on clay-gravel soils, with 28.5 hectares of vines stretching right down to the river. The estate’s grape varieties are 41.2% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11.2% Cabernet Franc and 11.2% Petit Verdot.
Vinification is overseen by renowned oenologist Hubert de Boüard.
