In the 18th century, Château Lynch Moussas, like Lynch-Bages, was owned by the famous Lynch family of Irish origin. The 62-hectare vineyard is planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. The Castéja family, owners since the 16th century in Pauillac, acquired the château in the early 20th century.
