Vines were first cultivated on the slopes of what is now Château Pavie as early as the 4th century. Today, the Château comprises a single block of 35 hectares, making it one of Saint-Emilion’s largest Premiers Grands Crus Classés. With low yields and parcel-based vinification, the Château strives to create wines that fully express its magnificent terroir, wonderfully structured and incredibly elegant.
