Classified for its red wines, the Château de Fieuzal is located on remarkable hilltops of gravel with clay-limestone subsoil. Since 2001, it has belonged to Lochlann Quinn, an Irish businessman passionate about contemporary art and great Bordeaux wines. The latter entrusted the general and technical management to Stephen Carrier, a former Château Lynch Bages in particular. The estate also benefits from the advice of Hubert de Boüard, co-owner of the famous Château Angélus in Saint-Emilion. The 65 hectares dedicated to reds are planted with Cabernet-Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (33%), Cabernet Franc (4.5%) and Petit Verdot (2.5%). Ten hectares produce Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle whites.
