“The Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos is a blend of Furmint, Zeta and Harslevelu, the maceration is done mainly with finished wine. It presents an exceptional bouquet: tangerine, quince and marmalade, as well as a sublime minerality and tension. The palate is very well balanced on mandarin, lime, orange peel and a touch of quince. It is a crisp wine, an unpredictable but convincing Tokaji with a very long and sustained finish. Description

Grand Cru classified since 1737, these wines offer an incredible balance between sweetness and acidity. These grapes come from parcels of Tokaji terroirs. An Aszu grain is a raisined botrytised grain. At Disznókő, the Aszu beans are picked by hand during several successive passages through the rows of vines. The Aszu wines of 3, 4, 5 and 6 Puttonyos and Aszu Eszencia are vinified according to a method established in the 17th century.
