The great wine of Vega Sicilia. Vinified according to an unchanged method, Único is only marketed after at least ten years of ageing. Made from vines averaging 35 years old, it is only produced in great vintages.
2015 is a structured, precise vintage, with good concentration and a silky texture. It can be enjoyed now, but will gain in complexity with time.

A wine of legend, Unico de Vega Sicilia owes its unique character to a viticulture of rare exactness and to the art of ageing, which here reaches unequalled perfection. One of the longest ageing processes in the world, nearly 10 years from barrel to bottle, have slowly aged the color and nose of this Tinto Fino-dominated blend: bewitching, smooth, mellow aromas of stewed black fruit, sweet spices, truffle and menthol notes. The power and sweetness of the fruit voluptuously fill the palate, supported by melting tannins and discreet freshness. Vega Sicilia has created a legendary Unico with phenomenal length.
