CORNAS – DOMAINE SAINT-PIERRE 2017 – JABOULET

A great Cornas from Paul Jaboulet Aîné, produced from one of the emblematic terroirs of the northern Rhône Valley. Made from Syrah, this wine impresses with its depth, concentration and distinctive character.

The 2017 vintage offers beautifully ripe fruit, accompanied by notes of black fruit, spices, violet and subtle smoky nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, supported by firm yet elegant tannins and a long finish.

A powerful and refined Cornas with plenty of character, fully expressing the richness of its terroir. A wine for lovers of great Rhône Syrah, particularly rewarding to discover after a few years of bottle ageing.

DOMAINE SAINT-PIERRE – PAUL JABOULET AÎNÉ

Domaine Saint-Pierre is one of the emblematic terroirs of Paul Jaboulet Aîné, a historic reference in the northern Rhône Valley. Founded in 1834 in Tain-l’Hermitage, the estate has built its reputation over generations around great terroirs such as Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas and Saint-Joseph.

In Cornas, the vines benefit from a steep and demanding terroir that is particularly well suited to Syrah. The granite soils, steep slopes and vineyard exposures produce deep, structured wines with remarkable ageing potential.

With Domaine Saint-Pierre, Jaboulet creates a cuvée that highlights the full power and nobility of Cornas, while retaining the precision and elegance that characterise the great wines of the estate.
