A distinguished dry white wine from Bordeaux, crafted by the prestigious Château Doisy Daëne in the heart of the Barsac terroir. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2019 vintage impresses with its aromatic intensity and elegance.

The nose reveals a beautiful freshness, with aromas of citrus, grapefruit and white fruit, complemented by delicate mineral notes and hints of flint. On the palate, the wine offers a lively, juicy attack, supported by remarkable saline tension, leading into a fresh, fruity and persistent finish.

Vinified and aged in barrels, it combines richness, freshness and minerality with great precision. A distinctive, original and gastronomic dry white Bordeaux, already enjoyable today while offering excellent ageing potential.

Château Doisy-Daëne

Located in Barsac, at the heart of the great sweet-wine terroirs of the Graves, Château Doisy-Daëne is an emblematic estate of the Dubourdieu family. Classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé of Barsac in 1855, the estate has long been renowned for the precision and elegance of its white wines.

The estate stretches across gravel, clay and limestone soils that are particularly well suited to growing Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The Dubourdieu family takes a meticulous approach to both vineyard management and winemaking, with a focus above all on expressing the terroir, freshness and finesse.

While Doisy-Daëne is renowned for its great sweet wines, the estate also produces dry white Bordeaux wines, including the Grand Vin Sec. These cuvées offer a livelier and more mineral expression of the Barsac terroir, with beautiful tension and remarkable aromatic precision.
