The Château Malartic-Lagravière 2025 is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves from the Pessac-Léognan appellation, on the left bank of Bordeaux.

The vineyard is rooted in deep gravel soils mixed with clay-limestone subsoils, typical of the appellation. This geological diversity produces wines that combine structure, freshness, and aromatic precision.

The 2025 vintage shows a fine balance between ripeness and tension, with concentrated grapes while maintaining good freshness. The red blend is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and occasionally a touch of Petit Verdot depending on the parcels.

Ageing in French oak barrels brings an elegant complexity, with integrated oak notes that support the fruit without overpowering it.

On the nose, the wine reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry, along with hints of spice, cocoa, and a subtle smoky character typical of Pessac-Léognan. On the palate, the attack is ample and precise, with a firm structure, fine tannins, and a beautiful tension.

Château Malartic-Lagravière – Estate

The Château Malartic-Lagravière is a wine estate located in Léognan, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux. Classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves for both red and white wines, it is one of the historic references of the region.

The vineyard covers around 70 hectares planted on deep gravel soils resting on clay-limestone subsoils. This combination of terroirs allows the production of wines that are structured, elegant, and marked by fine freshness.
