Château Glana 2022 – Saint-Julien

Château Glana 2022 is a Saint-Julien that impresses with its balance of richness, precision and freshness. Produced from an outstandingly successful, sun-filled Bordeaux vintage, it reveals an expressive bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry, complemented by notes of cedar, sweet spices and a subtle hint of graphite.

On the palate, the wine opens with a generous attack, supported by a fine concentration of dark fruit. The ripe, silky tannins provide structure while preserving the wine’s elegance. The long, harmonious finish reflects the classic and refined character of Saint-Julien.

Enjoyable in its youth after decanting, Château Glana 2022 also offers excellent ageing potential, allowing it to develop even greater complexity over the years.

The Estate

Château Glana is located in Saint-Julien, opposite the prestigious Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. Since its acquisition by the Meffre family, the estate has remained committed to producing wines that faithfully reflect their terroir, combining meticulous vineyard management with precise winemaking.

The vineyard extends across the appellation’s renowned Garonne gravel ridges, a terroir particularly well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Glana’s wines are recognised for their finesse, balance and consistency, offering an elegant expression of the classic Saint-Julien style.
