The 2018 vintage, sunny and generous, produced wines that are rich, concentrated and perfectly balanced. In this context, this wine combines aromatic intensity, structure and finesse, with excellent ageing potential.

The nose opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, complemented by notes of violet, liquorice, sweet spices and subtle oak. On the palate, the attack is broad and silky, supported by fine and well-integrated tannins. The wine is harmonious, structured and deeply expressive, leading to a long and elegant finish.

The Estate

Domaine Joseph Drouhin is a historic family-run Burgundy estate founded in 1880 in Beaune. Renowned for its respectful approach to terroir and its biodynamic viticulture across a large part of its vineyards, the estate produces wines of great purity that faithfully express the climats of the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune and beyond.
