The Château Pape Clément 2021 is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves, from the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
It is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, complemented by a touch of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Aromas of ripe black fruits, cherry and subtle toasted notes. The palate is full and velvety, with fine tannins and a fresh, balanced finish.
Ideal with red meats, roast lamb or slow-cooked dishes.
A structured and elegant wine with good ageing potential.
Château Pape Clément is one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux, located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Its name comes from Pope Clement V, who developed the vineyard in the 14th century.
Today owned by Bernard Magrez, the estate has undergone significant modernization while preserving its historical identity. The vineyard lies on the gravelly soils typical of the Graves region, producing wines that are both structured and elegant.
Château Pape Clément is known for its generous, precise and consistent style, with constant attention to detail from the vineyard through to ageing.
