C’est le vin le plus vendu du domaine Alvaro Palacios et il est en constante progression d’année en année. Les Terrasses est un vin sans lourdeur ou l’alcool ne domine jamais.

This is the best-selling wine from the Alvaro Palacios estate, and it’s growing steadily every year. Les Terrasses is a wine without heaviness, where alcohol never dominates.

This wine was originally conceived to express Alvaro Palacios’s modernist vision of Priorat, and contained Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This role has now devolved to the “Camis del Priorat”, and Les Terrasses has become a classic blend of grenache and carignan, with black fruit, blackberry and cherry aromas and an elegance rarely matched at this price in Priorat.

A pretty, intense garnet-red colour; a very expressive nose with mineral notes of hot stones, wild berries and even, after aeration, a hint of cocoa. On the palate, very fine tannins, a silky texture and a lovely fruity finish. A well-balanced, very elegant wine.
