In 630, a winegrower from the Côte de Nuits named Bertin decided to plant pinot noir on his land, copying the practices of neighboring monks. The result was spectacular and the wine of the “Champ de Bertin” became famous and inspired the name of the village. We find beautiful ruby colors so characteristic of Pinot Noir. The bouquets are expressive, clean, pure, in the register of small red fruits. The harvest is carried out manually, the aging is done in barrels, 20% of which are new barrels for a period of 14 to 18 months.
