The Falcoeira A Capilla estate is located in the Valdeorras region of Galicia, in northwestern Spain. It is a high-altitude vineyard, planted on steep slopes overlooking the valley, where the vines are cultivated under particularly demanding conditions.

The soils are mainly composed of schist and granite, giving the wine a strong mineral identity. The climate is Atlantic in nature, with marked oceanic influence, moderate temperatures, and a significant diurnal range, which promotes slow and even ripening of the grapes.

Work in the vineyard is largely done by hand due to the steep terrain and difficult access to the parcels. This approach allows for very precise grape selection and a faithful expression of the terroir.

The vineyard is managed with a deep respect for the landscape and old vines, resulting in high-altitude wines that are precise, elegant, and deeply rooted in their Galician origin.
