Château Lynch-Moussas Dame Jeanne 2,5L 2025 – Pauillac : 94-96
The Château Lynch-Moussas 2025 – Dame Jeanne 2,5L is a red wine from the Pauillac appellation, on the left bank of the Médoc. It is a Fifth Growth classified in 1855, presented here in a 2.5L Dame Jeanne format, intended for special occasions and long ageing potential.
The vineyard covers around 90 hectares, planted on deep gravel hilltops (graves garonnaises) over clay-sandy subsoils typical of Pauillac. These soils provide excellent drainage and allow for slow, even ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon, the dominant grape variety of the appellation.
The 2025 vintage expresses the estate’s classic style, with a straight structure, good ripeness, and a balance between power and freshness. The blend is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, which adds roundness and suppleness.
The 2.5L Dame Jeanne format enables a particularly slow and harmonious evolution of the wine, promoting better integration of tannins and optimal long-term ageing.
Winemaking is traditional and rigorous, while ageing in French oak barrels adds complexity and finesse without masking the expression of the fruit and terroir.
On the nose, the wine shows aromas of blackcurrant, dark fruits, and cherry, along with notes of cedar, graphite, and fine spices. On the palate, the attack is straight and structured, with present but elegant tannins, good freshness, and a persistent finish.
This is a serious, classic Pauillac, particularly suited for long ageing thanks to its large-format bottling.

The Château Lynch-Moussas is a wine estate located in Pauillac, in the heart of the Médoc on the left bank of Bordeaux. It is classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 classification and is part of the historic properties of the appellation.
The estate originates from the former Lynch property, which was divided in the 19th century between Lynch-Bages and Lynch-Moussas. Today, it is owned by the Castéja family, who also own several other Bordeaux estates, and benefits from structured and consistent management.
The vineyard covers around 90 hectares, planted on the typical gravel soils of Pauillac (graves garonnaises), over clay-sandy subsoils. This terroir ensures excellent drainage and allows for slow, complete ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon.
The vineyard is mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, producing structured, direct, and classic Pauillac-style wines.
Viticulture is carried out with rigor, with precise parcel management and constant attention to grape ripeness. Winemaking is traditional and careful, aiming to preserve balance and terroir typicity.
Ageing in French oak barrels adds structure and complexity while respecting the estate’s classic style.
Today, Château Lynch-Moussas is recognized as a reliable and consistently performing Pauillac estate, producing serious, structured wines with good ageing potential.
