Château Lynch-Moussas 2025 – Pauillac : 94-96
The Château Lynch-Moussas 2025 is a red wine from the Pauillac appellation, on the left bank of the Médoc. It is a Fifth Growth classified in 1855, located in one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious appellations.
The vineyard covers around 90 hectares, planted on deep gravel hilltops (graves garonnaises) over clay-sandy subsoils typical of Pauillac. These soils provide excellent drainage and allow for slow, even ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon, the dominant grape variety of the appellation.
The 2025 vintage follows the estate’s classic style, with good grape ripeness and a balanced structure. The blend is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, which brings roundness and suppleness.
The estate is known for producing structured, direct, and precise wines with a faithful expression of the Pauillac terroir. Winemaking is traditional and rigorous, while ageing in French oak barrels adds complexity and finesse without masking the fruit.
On the nose, the wine shows aromas of blackcurrant, black fruits, and cherry, along with notes of cedar, graphite, and fine spices. On the palate, the attack is straight and structured, with present yet elegant tannins, good freshness, and a persistent finish.

Viticulture is carried out with rigor, with parcel-by-parcel management and careful attention to grape ripeness. Winemaking is traditional and precise, aiming to preserve balance and the typicity of the terroir.
Ageing in French oak barrels adds structure and complexity while respecting the classic Pauillac style.
Today, Château Lynch-Moussas is recognized as a solid and consistently reliable Pauillac estate, producing serious, structured wines with good ageing potential.
