Les Pagodes de Cos 2019 is the second wine of the prestigious Château Cos d’Estournel, a Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Estèphe. Sourced from selected parcels of the estate, this 2019 vintage benefits from ideal climatic conditions, delivering a wine that is rich, precise and perfectly balanced. More approachable in its youth than the grand vin, it nevertheless retains the depth and aromatic signature of the estate.

The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry, complemented by notes of cedar, sweet spices, liquorice and a subtle smoky touch. On the palate, the attack is ample and silky, supported by fine and well-integrated tannins. The wine is harmonious, structured and elegant, with a long and fresh finish.

The Estate

Château Cos d’Estournel is one of the most famous 1855 Classified Growths (Grands Crus Classés) of the Médoc. Renowned for its powerful, refined wines with outstanding ageing potential, the estate stands out in Saint-Estèphe for a unique style, combining intensity, precision and an almost exotic elegance in its blends.
