The 2022 Château Sacré Cœur is a little gem from the Pomerol appellation, owned by Jean-Philippe Janoueix. This wine comes from very old Merlot vines, planted on gravel and clay soils typical of Bordeaux’s right bank. The warm and sunny 2022 vintage allowed the grapes to reach perfect maturity while maintaining a beautiful freshness. The precise and fruit-friendly vinification showcases the natural finesse of the terroir. This exclusive vintage is distinguished by its elegance, aromatic purity, and silky texture.

The color is deep, purple-ruby. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of ripe plum, blackcurrant, violet, and truffle, complemented by notes of dark chocolate and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is velvety, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced between power and freshness. The tannins are refined, the texture creamy, and the finish is long, marked by black fruit and a mineral touch.
